my family loves the food but EVERY time we order corn on the cob we are always told they dont have it! It is every time this one night shift manager is there. I guess she just doesn't want to make it. Is it really that difficult????

Waited for about 20 minutes Sunday night before we decided to leave. There was no one in front of us in line. A gentleman came up and tried to take our order but kept laughing and talking to someone through the earpiece. He ended up walking away and told us someone else would help.... no one did. I watched as one of the female employees opened a chemical bottle and started pouring it onto the floor near all the open food.
Another employee was dumping all the unused red beans into a larger container and mixing it up.
We eventually got irritated and left. As we were leaving we could hear the employees laugh.
I wouldn't touch this place with a 10 foot pole. I wish i was able to give less than a one star rating. -

Don't order from here using a delivery service. They will send you the wrong food. Why is it every single Popeyes thinks it's fine to give you mild chicken instead of letting you know they're out of spicy? And why does every Popeyes run out of spicy chicken? Seriously, the only thing this place is good at is getting orders wrong.

Stopped here after a college basketball game on a Friday night around 9:30. Needless to say with a bus full of players they were WAY unprepared for us.
In terms of the inside it was in desperate need of cleaning. Scraps on floors, tabletops were sticky, employees looked very worn out, and the condiments and cup/lid/straw area was disheveled.
This was my 4th trip to a Popeyes since me and my dude Joe Clohey used to go in his Volvo Sunday's in college. Good times.
I ordered a 9pc boneless wing combo which came with fries, a biscuit, and a soda. Hadn't eaten since 11, so I added a cheesecake- bad move.
Food was meh. My 9pc struggled to be one- seeing as there were 7 wings in box. Fries were minuscule as well and the biscuit was as dry as my ashy elbows during the winter. However, the sweet heat sauce and ranch were nice touches.
The soda machine is the screen coke machine where you can customize- which if you read my other reviews, I've always maintained the view that the drinks that come out of these taste off and similar to cancer. Problem with the present one was NOTHING WAS AVAILABLE. DIET COKE? NOPE. REGULAR COKE? NAH NAH. SPRITE? SORRY NO. I had to settle for Cherry Fanta. Again... meh.
The Mardi Gras cheesecake was a sin, and rather than feeling like I was having beads thrown to me I threw my once-bitten cheesecake in the trash (which was overflowing).
Tough night. Employees tried, but really just wanted to leave, and overall, there's no wonder this place has a 1.5 star. -

This Popeye's on Merritt Blvd seriously can use a bunch of work on the inside. This place is
Filthy Dirty! It's a wonder someone hasn't called and reported this place to The Health Department. I ran inside me & my husband going to get something to eat after I went to use the bathroom & I had to come out of there. My husband & I looked around & we weren't eating in this joint! Hell Nah!!
